If You Failed To Achieve Your Goals So Far This Year…It’s Time To Analyze Why…

Are you on track to achieve your goals this year?

If not, why not?

Do you need to improve your knowledge of a subject?  Do you want to achieve your goals bad enough?  True, deep down inner-core desire is a BIG reason goals aren’t achieved (did you even write them down?).

Do you have a self-limiting mindset?

I am going to focus on that question in this post (self-limiting mindset).

You might think you aren’t ready to make say 50k a month yet…but if that’s your long-term goal…why not make it a short term goal? I mean really short…like next month?

I can hear all the typical excuses starting to brew in your mind…

“But Joe, we’re in a recession…”

“But Joe, I have never made 50k a month…”

“But Joe, _____________________ (any other generic excuse here)…”

No excuse. You are perfectly capable of making 50k a month or more…starting right now…if you remove all of the mental roadblocks and self-imposed limitations with “in the box” thinking.

The internet is a powerful tool…I equate it to the brain…not fully understood, but capable of extraordinary things.

I do cover this topic in my upcoming ebook “How To Make This Year Your Best Year Ever In Business” …which I have toiled with either selling or making it a New Year’s Gift for 2010 (don’t hold me to that deadline).

It’s time for you to fully take advantage of what the Internet has to offer, so start brainstorming ways to use it right now to leverage the growth of your online business and achieve all of your goals this year.

If you do…and do it now…you will be well on your way.

Once I removed the “self-limiting” mindset that I once had about 2 years ago…my income and free-time skyrocketed…

I want to see you in the same position as me (or better) at the end of 2009.

No excuses.

Until the next time we look in the mirror together,

Joseph Ratliff - Are you a goal-setter, or goal achiever?
Joseph Ratliff - Are you a goal-setter, or goal achiever?

P.S.  Here’s a little exercise you can do that will help remove any limitations in your mind.

Take out a piece of paper and a Sharpie.  On it, draw a big circle, and inside the circle write the words…

“I am not Self-Limiting”

… in big black letters.

Hang this piece of paper on your bathroom mirror and look at it at least 3 times every day…then say this phrase out loud 3 times each time you look at this piece of paper.

You’ll remind yourself that you have the power to create your own limitations, and if you choose to expand those limitations, you can…if you choose to be limited by your pre-supposed limitations, it’s no one’s fault but your own.
