The Only Limitations To The Mind Are Those We Acknowledge…

Google Buzz

“The only limitations to the mind are those we acknowledge, both richness and poorness are the offspring of conscious thought.”

–Napoleon Hill from “Think and Grow Rich”

(if you don't have a copy of this book, you should get one right now, and read it at least 3 times all the way through before the end of THIS year, period.)

Why bring up a quote regularly available in the public domain?

Let’s examine its deeper meaning.

Do you ever wonder why you don’t accomplish everything you set your mind to like Grandpa used to say?

It isn’t because you don’t set your mind to it in the first place…it’s what enters your mind after you start on the journey to accomplishing a goal that stops you from making a success of yourself.

Think about that for at least 10 minutes…

If it was just as simple as a straight line…this is how your goal-achieving process would look like:

Write down and set this goal —-> Achieve this goal

Instead, this is actually how your process ends up taking place (you can’t deny this has happened to you at least once either) :

Write down and set this goal —> Set out on a plan to achieve this goal —> Experience some set backs —> Start to have doubts —> Doubts lead to more set backs —> Eventually give up on achieving your goal.

Or your goal achieving process might end up looking like this…

Write down and set this goal —> Accidentally gain some pre-conceived information on “how it’s supposed to turn out” —> Create a mental limitation from that pre-conceived information —> Which ends up dictating the results you achieve.

Obviously, there are variations and additions to each of these “maps”…but the bottom-line here is, if you weren’t to allow any limitations to enter your mind, or accept those limitations as limitations…you would achieve much more success.

So work on that today, in your mind try to realize when you are the one accepting a limitation that might otherwise not be a limitation if you choose not to acknowledge it.

That’s today’s lesson.  And get yourself a copy of  “Think and Grow Rich” if you don’t already have it…read it from cover to cover at least once, and preferably 3 times before the end of the year.

The insight you gain will truly change your life.
